The kangaroo is a marsupial from the family Macropodidae (macropods, meaning "large foot"). Kangaroos are endemic to the Australia. The largest species in the family are called "kangaroos" and the smallest are generally called "wallabies". The term "wallaroos", a portmanteau, refers to species of an intermediate size. Kangaroos have large, powerful hind legs, large feet adapted for leaping, a long muscular tail for balance, and a small head. Like mostmarsupials, female kangaroos have a pouch called a marsupium in which joeys complete postnatal development.
In the game
In Bart's Island Escape, the kangaroo was seen on a big rock, but as Bart put a red sweet fruit on the floor, the animal bounced down and ate the fruit as well it was recruited with Bart to help him in his journey. The kangaroo was then seen the second time, when Bart had to go threw the lake with the crocodile. He first hoped on it's back when he threw the red sweet fruit again, on the other side of the lake. When the animal saw the fruit, he made a super jump over the lake.
- When the kangaroo saw the fruit the second time, his eyes widen as his tounge moved all over the mouth.
- At Bart's home, the kangaroo wasn't even seen near the other animals.
